Halloween Food Post

Sorry I didn't get this up earlier...

Spooky Taffy
 Materials you'll need:

  • Wax paper
  • Clay (recommended!) or colored paper

Step 1: Cut off a piece of wax paper. Crumple the paper into a ball. If you have clay, roll it into a small ball.

Step 2: Put the clay or the paper in the center of the rectangle of wax paper.

Step 3: Roll the wax paper. Trim off any excess.

Other Ideas
For this candy, I stacked a couple of layers of clay on top of each other and cut them.

 Candy corn is always fun.

Here's Kirsten dressed up as Katniss with a table of goodies!

Happy Halloween!

In case you're wondering what I'm up to...

Sorry for not blogging recently! I'll be much more active after the biggest chunk of marching band is done (hopefully). We're going to Disneyland this weekend. This past weekend, we took second to a band which is one of the best in the nation (by 2 points!) and beat them in drumline and music :).

I'll be posting the Halloween stuff soon!

I'm starting to work on my big Halloween project right now! Here's a preview (edited) of something that will be involved:

On another note, I'll be at marching band competitions for the entire month of October during the weekends, so posting will become rather sparse.
